One-Stop Portal for Transparency in Virginia

While Virginia taxpayers have had the Commonwealth Datapoint at their disposal for several years now, the Auditor of Public Accounts, the Virginia Enterprise Applications Program and Virginia.gov have jointly developed a one-stop access portal that provides links to all the transparency data systems that provide Virginians with information on how the state is spending their tax dollars. The site provides links to:

The Commonwealth Datapoint has also been updated to include a single-word google search that allows users to search for any spending by keyword. The new website comes on the heels of transparency legislation that updates the required information that is disclosed on the Datapoint. We hope these developments mean more sunlight for Virginia in the future!
