Wanted: TARP Transparency

Tuesday, August 4, 2009 10:51 AM Add to Facebook Add to Twitter

In light of the most recent SIGTARP report which once again highlighted the fact that the Treasury Department is dragging its feet when it comes to providing transparency, ATR and CFA sent a letter to Congress urging full transparency.

We also joined with numerous other groups calling on Congress to enact the "TARP Accountability and Disclosure Act" (H.R. 1242/S. 910) which would provide an important first step in the direction of more accountability and transparency in the TARP program.

Click here and here for the letters.

Both letters will be resent after recess.
